Pennant of the Lough Erne Yacht Club (left), Fairies on the Erne (centre) and Pennant of the Enniskillen Yacht Club (right)
With the reformation of the LEYC in the 1940s, the Enniskillen Yacht Club was in a long period of decline before phasing out of existence by the 1980s. The EYCs assets, sailors and Fairy boats were gradually moved over to the LEYC over a 40 year period as the former became more of a social club. Below is a collection of photographs from the founding of the Fairy fleet at Enniskillen to the late 1990, with the boats in action, with descriptions for further reference and history. These galleries are being updated.
