Belfast News-Letter, 1912
‘Maimoune’ was originally commissioned as ‘Orina’ but due to a disagreement or the lack of a financial settlement, the boat did not appear with the rest of the class until 1906. Once she did appear with the rest of the fleet, it was under a new owner and a new name of ‘Maimoune’. She is the second Fairy of the RNIYC. Like the rest of her sisters, she has sailed from Cultra ever since and converted over to Bermudian rig in 1925.
